"Toy
Aussies," and Miniature American Shepherds are distinct and separate
breeds from the Australian Shepherd.
If you want an Aussie, get an Aussie. If you want a smaller dog, Australian Shepherd bitches measuring 18" and weighing 30 pounds can be found and are within the preferred size range of the ASCA breed standard.
